Cheetah - Forst Eibenstein

The cheetah occupies various regions in Africa as well as parts of the Middle East.

In terms of size, adult cheetahs typically weigh between 21 and 72 kg. They have a head-and-body length ranging from 110 to 150 cm, with a tail length of 60 to 84 cm. At the shoulder, cheetahs stand at a height of 66 to 94 cm.

Renowned for their incredible speed, cheetahs can outpace any other land animal, reaching speeds of 112 to 120 km/h in short bursts covering distances of up to 500 m. They possess the remarkable ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just three seconds.
