Waterbuck - Forst Eibenstein

The Waterbuck is an imposing antelope species primarily found in the wetlands and riverine regions of Namibia. It has a robust and heavy appearance, with a gray-brown coat marked by a distinctive white ring on the rear end of the animal. Male Waterbucks possess impressive forward-curving horns. They are excellent swimmers and can cover long distances in water. Waterbucks primarily feed on grasses, leaves, and other plant materials growing near water sources.
